This prize was awarded according to the MRAR (Morningstar Risk Adjusted Return) method, which, in order to calculate the risk-adjusted performance, uses the following characteristics: taking account of actual yield distribution, with risk being penalised in all cases. The measurement is based on rigorous base data, satisfying professional investors and producing results which are intuitively acceptable for private investors. AGEFI ASSETS: DISTRIBUTION ASSETS
Over the period from 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007, europerformance has assessed data from all formats on a monthly basis, multiplying the average net asset value of a fund by the variation in the number of shares over one month. This allows a more consistent result to be achieved and minimises accounting movements, with the best and worst results excluded.
The scope for this calculation includes equity funds, bond funds and diversified funds, classified within four categories: equity funds greater than 1 year, diversified funds greater than 1 year, bond funds greater than one year, and finally, funds under one year, irrespective of category. Each category is then separated into two groups, networks and specialists, since the latter do not have access to their own distribution network in France.
DNCA Finance was awarded first prize in the equities greater than one year category for the specialist segment.
